What is the best method for a spiritual seeker?

Sincerity. Why? You actually have the knowledge of yourself and how you desire to find it within. Be sincere and live. Make sincerity the very act of living. Not for someone else’s approval, not for nothing. Truth must become your experience for its own sake. Live this. I feel no method can succeed without sincerity and any path should lead to liberation for the truly sincere because they will trancend the path with their sincere desire and concentration which will inevitably develop with their sincerity. This is my contemplation for your question.
