I have been writing the blog in English and now I will start writing in Turkish. Since English is part of my thought process, my posts will sometimes be in English and sometimes in Turkish.
Why did I start in English first? I think I became very, very familiar with English in the process of finding myself. So much so that it has become an important part of me over the course of 25 years. I think it helped me to somehow get out of the ambient thought system that surrounded me, it helped me to see life from a different, completely different perspective. Especially in the 2000s, when the Internet first became widespread, and in my high school years before that, FRP, computer games and English novels opened the doors to a completely different world. Actually, my relationship with computers dates back to the 1990s. At that time, there were Sinclair computers in our elementary school. My father bought a ZX Spectrum 48K for the house. English had started to get into me since then. And the environment of free self-expression offered by the computer was like a therapy for me since my childhood. Of course, all the schools I attended were English-oriented… and I learned a lot of valuable information from English sources, Google, of course, I started using it when it first became known in Turkey, which was during my university years. They say a person is a world, thanks to the Internet I had the opportunity to meet many valuable people who opened my horizons, and they were effective in making English a part of me.
Anyway… Yes, from today I will be writing blog posts in Turkish and there will be Turkish pages on the blog. So I will have a chance to share myself with people in English and Turkish. I hope that I will be able to reach and touch a wider audience with my blog.
