It doesn’t help with overthinking adding another thought that ‘Overthinking is bad’. Other people might be saying overthinking is bad, but what is your own experience? We must observe our own experience and see what is really happening and this way genuinely increase our understanding. As this happens, we can naturally transition to more effective modes of living.

When our mind is very active, filled with thoughts influenced by our subconscious minds, we can find it difficult to move towards what we truly desire.

If you are inclined to overthink due to reasons you are not aware of within yourself, it won’t help you if you try to suppress your thinking. When you suppress but you remain unaware of the deeper aspects of yourself, they will continue to operate and you will be fighting against yourself.

You must find another way of naturally silencing the mind.
